51-Year-Old Diana Woman Colleen Mansfield Dies in 2-Vehicle Crash near Harleton in Harrison County
Harrison County, Texas (November 14, 2017)- A 51-year-old Diana woman was killed following after a collision between a car and a pickup truck in Harrison County early Thursday, according to authorities.
The collision happened at around 6:53 a.m. Thursday, November 2, on Texas 154 approximately 3 miles east of Harleton.
The preliminary investigators report stated that Colleen Gerarde Mansfield, of Diana, was driving a 2014 Honda Civic eastbound when the vehicle entered a right curve at a higher rate of speed. Mansfield then lost control of her car and crossed over into the westbound lane and eventually hit a 2008 Ford F-250 pickup driven west by Jason Dale Wallace, 37, of Harleton.
According to a report, Colleen Gerarde Mansfield was declared dead at the incident scene, and the body was transported to Meadow Brook Funeral Home in Marshall
An investigation into the crash remained underway.
