Houston, Texas (March 20, 2017) – A man in died Monday morning following a two-vehicle crash, the Houston Police Department said.

The incident took place at about 10:20 a.m. today at 11290 Bissonnet Street.

The vehicle involved in the crash was described as a green Ford F-150 and orange Dodge Challenger.

Reportedly, the driver of the Challenger was northbound in the 9700 block of Leawood Boulevard when it ran a red light at the intersection with Bissonnet Street and struck the Ford heading west on Bissonnet Street.

The Ford driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Dodge Challenger was taken to Ben Taub Hospital with unspecified injuries. The police believe that the driver likely suffered a medical condition leading to the deadly crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
