One Airlifted After Houston Two-Vehicle Crash on US 290 near Beltway 8 

Houston, Texas (August 19, 2022) – One person was injured Friday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Houston, according to a local news source.

The crash was reported around 9:44 a.m., on US 290 near Beltway 8.

According to the report, two vehicles were involved in the crash.

One person was extricated from a sedan and was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.

The crash closed several westbound lanes of the highway.

The crash remains under investigation.
