One Critically Injured in Lubbock RV Crash at Interstate 27 and Regis Street

Lubbock, Texas (September 6, 2019) – One person was critically injured in a traffic collision involving an RV Thursday afternoon in Lubbock, a local news source reported.

The crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. September 5, in the area of Interstate 27 and Regis Street.

Police said an RV and an SUV collided for unknown reasons at the intersection.

One person was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.

Both the eastbound and westbound traffic of Regis Street was diverted to side streets.

Motorists were urged to seek alternate routes to the airport.

The crash remains under investigation.
