One Killed and Two Injured in Irving Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 183

Irving, Texas (November 18, 2019) – One person was killed, and two others were injured on Sunday in a two-vehicle crash in Irving, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened on Sunday, November 17, on State Highway 183.

Police said a vehicle was heading westbound on the highway when the driver lost control and hit another vehicle.

The first vehicle then crashed into a concrete divider. A passenger in the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the first car and a person in the other vehicle sustained minor injuries in the crash.

State Highway 183 was closed following the crash. The highway was reopened around 8:00 p.m.

The crash remains under investigation.
