1 Killed in San Angelo Car Crash Wednesday morning on U.S. Highway 67 at Farm-to-Market Road 2335
San Angelo, Texas (February 7, 2019) – One person was killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision near San Angelo, authorities said.
The deadly wreck occurred at around 4:45 a.m. Wednesday, February 6 on U.S. Highway 67 at Farm-to-Market Road 2335 in Tankersley, approximately 10 miles southwest of San Angelo.
According to the authorities, a 2018 Dodge Ram pickup was traveling northbound on U.S. Highway 67 when for an unknown reason it veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a 2015 GMC Sierra pickup.
The driver of the Sierra was declared dead at the scene. The name of the deceased victim has not been released pending identification and notification of next of kin.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
Motorists were asked to seek alternate routes following the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
