One Killed in Amarillo Two-Vehicle Crash near Dumas Drive and Willow Creek Drive
Amarillo, Texas (February 19, 2019) – One person was killed Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash near an intersection in north Amarillo, according to a local news source.
The fatal crash happened at about 6:17 a.m. near the area of Dumas Drive and Willow Creek Drive off of Highway 287.
Officials said a semi-truck was exiting the highway onto Willow Creek Drive when it ran a stop sign and struck the car.
One person was killed in the collision.
Traffic was rerouted after the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
