Pilot Killed in Granbury Plane Crash near FM 4

Granbury, Texas (February 10, 2020) – One person was killed in a single-engine plane crash on Saturday in Granbury, according to the Highway Patrol Troopers.

The authorities were called to the wreckage site of a plane crash north of FM 4 and west of CR 2580, around 11:10 a.m., February 9.

When authorities arrived, they found a Beechcraft BE33 with the sole occupant dead inside.

Officials suspected the accident happened on Saturday because that is when the pilot had filed a flight plan from Mineral Wells to Granbury.

The pilot’s identity has not been disclosed.

The FAA and the NTSB are investigating the crash.
