1 Killed in Houston Crash on Bissonnet
Houston, Texas (January 6, 2019) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle collision in southwest Houston Sunday morning, police said.
The deadly accident occurred just before 10:00 a.m. in the 8900 block of Bissonnet.
According to the police, a black Honda Civic collided with a red Camry for an undetermined reason on Bissonnet. The impact caused the Civic to catch fire.
Emergency responders found the driver of the Civic in the back seat unresponsive. The driver was then taken to a hospital.
One person died in the collision. The name of the victim has not been disclosed pending identification and notification of family.
No other injuries were reported.
No additional information was immediately available. An investigation into the crash is underway.
