Woman Hospitalized after Waco Truck Accident on Interstate 35 near Forrest Street

Waco, Texas (July 30, 2019) – A woman was injured in a traffic accident in Waco Monday afternoon, authorities said.

The crash happened on Interstate 35 near Forrest Street Monday, July 29.

According to the authorities, an 18-wheeler collided with an SUV on southbound Interstate 35 for unknown reasons. The SUV then caught fire after the impact.

The female driver of the SUV was transported to a hospital in unknown condition. According to the DPS, she was expected to be ok.

Her name and current condition were not immediately released.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
