1 Hospitalized after Clear Lake Car Accident on El Dorado near Clear Lake

Houston, Texas (July 25, 2019) – A person was injured after a vehicle crashed into a Clear Lake Salon Wednesday, according to a local news source.

The accident happened on Wednesday, July 24 on El Dorado near Clear Lake.

Authorities said a 75-year-old woman was attempting to stop, but she hit the accelerator instead of the brake and slammed through the entrance the K and G Beauty Salon on El Dorado.

One customer was taken to a nearby hospital with unknown injuries. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed.

The driver of the car was uninjured. She was with failure to control speed.

The crash remains under investigation.
