1 Injured after Car, Truck Collide on Central Freeway in Wichita Falls

1 Hospitalized after Wichita Falls Truck Accident on Central Freeway

Wichita Falls, Texas (August 17, 2022) – One person was injured after a car and truck collided Tuesday afternoon in Wichita Falls, according to police.

The wreck happened at about 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16 in the 2700 block of Central Freeway.

Police said a truck was heading southbound on the access road when it failed to yield to a car that traveling southbound on Central Freeway exit. The truck reportedly clipped the car.

The truck then overturned.

The driver of the truck sustained minor injuries and was transported to a hospital. The driver of the car did not suffer any injuries.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
