1 Injured in 2-Vehicle Crash at W Twohig Avenue and S Abe Street in San Angelo

One Hospitalized after San Angelo Crash at West Twohig Avenue and South Abe Street

San Angelo, Texas (June 29, 2022) – One person was sent to a hospital following a two-vehicle collision Tuesday afternoon at a San Angelo intersection, according to the San Angelo Police Department.

The wreck occurred at the intersection of West Twohig Avenue and South Abe Street on Tuesday, June 28.

Police said a black Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling in the area when the driver failed to yield the right of way at a stop sign and was struck by an oncoming Buick at the intersection.

The driver of the Buick sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Shannon Hospital. The name of the victim and their condition were not immediately disclosed.

The Tahoe driver was charged with failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign.

No other details about the crash were immediately provided.

The accident remains under investigation.
