One Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Loop 1604 near Redland Road

San Antonio, Texas (March 6, 2023) – One person was injured early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in San Antonio, according to the police.

The crash happened around 2:23 a.m., March 5, in the 3400 block of N Loop 1604 E near Redland Road.

Police said a car lost control and hit an SUV. The car then veered off the highway and ended up on the grassy shoulder of the access road while the SUV spun around and slammed into the concrete highway divider.

A female passenger in the SUV was taken to BAMC in stable condition.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

The car driver was detained for possible DWI.

The crash remains under investigation.
