One Injured in San Angelo Three-Vehicle Crash at Koberlin and Malone Street

San Angelo, Texas (May 8, 2021) – According to the police, one person was injured Thursday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash at an east San Angelo intersection.

The crash happened on May 6, at the intersection of Koberlin and Malone Street.

Police said a maroon Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling westbound on Koberlin while a Chevrolet Malibu was traveling northbound on Malone Street and was stopped at the stop sign.

The Malibu then tried to cross Koberlin, failed to yield the right of way, and crashed into the Tahoe. The impact caused the Tahoe to spin and crash into a parked car.

A passenger in the Tahoe was taken to Shannon Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

The Malibu driver was cited for failure to yield the right of way at a stop sign.

The crash remains under investigation.

Common Causes of Automobile Accidents

While there are many causes of car accidents, the most common reasons of driver negligence include driver inattention; cell phone use; texting and driving; speeding; fatigue; failure to yield the right of way from a stop sign or private drive; running a red light; and driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs,” Attorney Joel A. Gordon said. Mr. Gordon believes that an independent investigation is important. An Attorney will help obtain the crash report, secure accident photos, interview witnesses, and create a claim.
