1 Injured in 3-Vehicle Crash at South Jackson Street and University Avenue in San Angelo

One Hospitalized after San Angelo Crash at South Jackson Street and University Avenue

San Angelo, Texas (October 17, 2022) – One person was hospitalized after a three-vehicle collision at an intersection in San Angelo on Monday afternoon, police said.

The crash occurred at the intersection of South Jackson Street and University Avenue.

According to the police, a blue Ford Expedition was heading eastbound on University Avenue when its brakes failed and slid into the intersection, where it collided with a blue Dodge Ram pickup that was heading southbound through the intersection on Jackson Street.

The pickup then struck a silver Chevrolet Trailblazer that was stopped at one of the intersection’s stop signs.

The driver of the Trailblazer sustained minor injuries and was taken to Shannon Hospital.

No additional information about the accident was provided.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
