One Injured in Denison Crash on U.S. Highway 75

Denison, Texas (February 5, 2021) – One person was injured in a traffic accident Thursday morning in Denison, according to police.

The crash happened just before 9:00 a.m., February 4, on U.S. Highway 75, between Loy Lake and Crawford.

Police said a pickup was pulling a flatbed trailer in the northbound lanes of the highway when the trailer became detached and crossed into the southbound lanes, and was struck by a semi-truck.

The semi-truck then veered into the northbound side.

The semi-truck driver was taken to a local hospital for treatment. 

No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
