One Person Hospitalized after Round Rock Crash on State Highway 45 near Greenlawn Boulevard

Round Rock, Texas August 18, 2022) – One person was injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Round Rock Thursday morning, according to Round Rock Police Department.

The crash happened at about 8:05 a.m. on State Highway 45 between Greenlawn Boulevard and Interstate 35.

Police said an 18-wheeler collided with several vehicles on the westbound side of State Highway 45. After the impact, the 18-wheeler burst into flames.

One patient was taken to a hospital in St. David’s Round Rock with non-life-threatening injuries.

This crash remains under investigation. Additional information is not available at this time.
