One Injured in Denton Four-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 380

Denton, Texas (June 27, 2021) – One person was injured Sunday morning in a multi-vehicle crash in Denton, according to the police.

The crash was reported around 9:11 a.m., on U.S. Highway 380 (East University Drive) at Trinity Road.

Police said four vehicles were involved in the wreck.

One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The crash closed the westbound and eastbound lanes of East University at North Mayhill and Rockhill roads.

Motorists were urged to avoid the area.

The crash remains under investigation.
