One Injured in Bastrop Train Crash on Main Street

Bastrop, Texas (January 30, 2021) – One person was injured Friday afternoon in a train accident in Bastrop, according to officials.

The crash happened around 2:00 p.m., January 29, at the Main Street railroad crossing.

Officials said the crash involved a Union Pacific Railroad train and a vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No other injuries were reported in the crash.

An investigation is underway.
