One Injured in Grand Prairie Two-Vehicle Crash on I-30 near MacArthur

Grand Prairie, Texas (November 21, 2020) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash involving a police car early Saturday morning in Grand Prairie, according to police.

The crash happened around 3:00 a.m. on westbound Interstate 30 near MacArthur.

Police said a vehicle side-swiped a police car in the westbound lanes of the interstate. The impact caused the police car to overturn.

The officer was out of the vehicle assisting a stranded motorist at the time of the crash.

The driver who hit the police car sustained minor injuries in the crash.

The crash closed westbound Interstate 30.

The crash remains under investigation.
