1 Hospitalized after Lewisville Crash on Interstate 35 near Lowes

Lewisville, Texas (August 2, 2019) – At least one person was injured in a traffic accident that occurred Wednesday in Lewisville, authorities said.

The wreck happened on southbound Interstate 35 near the Lowes Wednesday, July 31.

According to the authorities, several vehicles collided on the south side of Interstate 35 for reasons still under investigation. Two of the cars were described as a pickup truck and a silver car.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and extricated the male party who was trapped inside his vehicle.

At least one person was taken to a local hospital with unspecified injuries. The name and condition of the patient at this time were not disclosed.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
