1 Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on Sherwood Way in San Angelo

One Hospitalized after San Angelo Car Accident on Sherwood Way
San Angelo, Texas (May 17, 2019) – A person was injured Thursday afternoon in a three-vehicle crash in San Angelo, according to a local news release.
The collision took place on Thursday, May 16, in the 5500 block of Sherwood Way.
Police said a blue and silver Chevy Silverado was heading westbound on Sherwood Way and was trying to turn left into the parking lot of Walmart. It entered the intersection and was hit on the passenger side by a newer model Silverado. The impact pushed the newer Chevy into a Ford Expedition which was traveling in the far right-hand lane.
One person was taken to the hospital in unknown condition.
The driver of the blue Silverado was issued a citation for failure to yield right of way.
The police are investigating the crash.
