One Injured in Interstate 35 Crash near Irving Lee Street in Waco
Waco, Texas (March 5, 2019) – A person was injured Monday night in a traffic accident in Waco, according to a local news source.
The wreck, which was reported just after 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 4, happened on Interstate 35 near Irving Lee Street.
As per the report, two vehicles collided for an unknown reason on Interstate 35.
Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped inside their wrecked vehicle. The extent of the patient’s injuries at this time remained unknown.
A power pole was struck and damaged by the vehicles. Nearly 350 power customers were left in the dark as temperatures plunged below freezing as a result of the crash.
