1 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at U.S. 87 and Loop 306 in San Angelo

Driver Hospitalized after San Angelo Two-Vehicle Crash at .S. 87 and Loop 306

San Angelo, Texas (September 8, 2019) – One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in San Angelo, according to a local news source.

The crash happened just after 10:30 a.m. September 7, in the area of U.S. 87 and Loop 306.

DPS said a red passenger car was heading westbound on the access road on U.S. 87 while a pickup truck was heading southbound.

The red car ran a red light and failed to yield the right-of-way to the pickup, resulting in a collision.

The driver of the red car was taken to Shannon Medical Center in unknown condition. The driver was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign.

The pickup driver was uninjured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
