One Injured in Lynn County Two-Vehicle Crash on U.S. Highway 87 

Lynn, Texas (October 6, 2019) – One person was injured in a traffic collision Saturday evening near Lubbock-Lynn County Line, according to the DPS.

The accident happened around 5:00 p.m., October 5, on southbound U.S. Highway 87.

DPS said a Jeep Wrangler and a Toyota Camry were traveling southbound in adjacent lanes. The driver of the Jeep failed to maintain a single lane and collided with the Camry. The impact caused the driver of the Wrangler to lose control, and the vehicle rolled over.

The driver of wrangler was taken to a local hospital in serious condition. The five occupants of the Toyota Camry were uninjured.

The crash remains under investigation.
