One Killed and One Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash on University Avenue at Marsha Sharp Freeway

Lubbock, Texas (January 16, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in Central Lubbock, according to police.

The fatal crash happened on University Avenue at the Marsha Sharp Freeway.

Police said two vehicles were involved in the collision.

One person was killed in the crash. The victim’s identity has not been released.

Another victim was taken to University Medical Center with moderate injuries.

No further details regarding the crash were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
