Man Killed, Man Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash on Eisenhauer Road

San Antonio, Texas (March 7, 2021) – A man was killed, and another was injured Saturday afternoon in a head-on collision in San Antonio’s Northeast Side, according to San Antonio police.

The crash occurred on March 6, in the 5100 block of Eisenhauer Road, just east of Interstate 35.

Police said a man was driving a sports car eastbound at a high rate of speed when it crossed over into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into an SUV.

The sports car continued spinning out of control further down the road, where it came to a stop on the sidewalk.

The driver of the sports car was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

The SUV driver was taken to the Brooke Army Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

No further details were provided.

The police are investigating the crash.
