1 Killed, 1 Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 6 in Brazos County

One Killed and One Injured in Brazos County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 6 near FM 2154

Brazos County, Texas (September 4, 2021) – According to the Texas DPS, one person was killed, and another was injured early Friday morning in a head-on collision in Brazos County.

The fatal crash happened on September 3, on Highway 6 near FM 2154.

DPS said a pickup truck was traveling on the highway when it crossed the grassy median and crashed head-on into a Cadillac SUV.

The SUV driver from Louisiana was pronounced dead at the scene.

The pickup driver was taken to St. Joseph Health Regional Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
