One Killed and One Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash at 56th Street and Avenue U

Lubbock, Texas (August 15, 2020) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a rollover crash Friday night in central Lubbock, according to police.

The fatal crash happened around 7:42 p.m., August 14, at the intersection of 56th Street and Avenue U.

Police said two vehicles collided at the intersection, causing one of them to roll over.

One person was killed in the crash. Another person sustained moderate injuries.

No other details regarding the crash were available.

The police are investigating the crash.
