1 Killed, 1 Injured in Three-Vehicle Crash on University Drive in Denton

One Killed and One Injured in Denton Three-Vehicle Crash on University Drive at Trinity Road

Denton, Texas (June 27, 2021) – One person was killed and another was injured Sunday morning in a three-vehicle crash in Denton, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened just after 9:00 a.m., in the area of E. University Drive and Trinity Road.

Police said three vehicles were involved in the collision.

Two people were taken to the hospital where one of them later died. The victim’s identity has not been released.

The crash closed all the eastbound and westbound lanes of E. University Drive at Mayhill and Rockhill roads.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
