One Killed and One Injured in Linn Two-Vehicle Crash at Floral Road and Lazy Palms

Linn, Texas (November 30, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Linn, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 9:45 a.m., November 29, at the intersection of Floral Road and Lazy Palms, west of U.S. 281.

DPS said a gold Saturn was approaching the intersection when it failed to yield the right of way and was struck by a commercial truck that was traveling westbound on Floral Road.

The Saturn driver was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released. His female passenger was taken to Doctors Hospital at Renaissance with non-life-threatening injuries.

No other details were provided.

The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating the crash.
