Woman Killed, Man Injured in San Antonio Two-Vehicle Crash at S. WW White Road and Retta Street; Samudio Charlie Senior Charged

San Antonio, Texas (February 14, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was injured in a DUI crash on Saturday in San Antonio’s Southeast Side, according to police.

The fatal crash happened on February 13, at the intersection of S. WW White Road and Retta Street.

Police said a Mitsubishi Mirage was traveling southbound on WW White while a Chrysler 200 was traveling northbound on WW White. The Mitsubishi tried to turn left into a Dollar General, failed to yield the right-of-way and crashed into the Chrysler.

The Mitsubishi driver, a 73-year-old man, and his passenger, a 44-year-old woman, were taken to the Brooke Army Medical Center, where the woman later died. Her name has not been released.

The Chrysler driver, Samudio Charlie Senior, 28, was uninjured in the crash. He was arrested and booked on suspicion of DWI. He has been charged with driving while intoxicated.

The crash remains under investigation.
