One Killed and One Injured in Amarillo Two-Vehicle Crash on US Highway 87

Amarillo, Texas (May 3, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was seriously injured early Sunday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Amarillo, according to a local news source.

The fatal crash happened around 4:50 a.m., April 2, in the 2500 block of US Highway 87.

According to the report, the crash involved a white Kia and a red Dodge.

The Kia driver, a woman, was pronounced dead at the scene. Her name has not been released.

The Dodge driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

No further details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
