Man Killed and Man Injured in Austin Two-Vehicle Crash on East Slaughter Lane

Austin, Texas (August 20, 2019) – A man was killed and another was injured Monday night in a two-vehicle crash in Southeast Austin, according to officials.

The fatal crash happened around 8:00 p.m. August 19, on East Slaughter Lane, east of Interstate 35.

Officials said the crash involved a van and a truck.

The impact ejected a man in his 40s from one of the vehicles. He was killed in the crash.

Another man also in his 40s was taken to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with potentially serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
