1 Killed, 1 Seriously Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 207 near Panhandle 

One Killed and One Seriously Injured in Panhandle Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 207

Panhandle, Texas (October 2, 2021) – One person was killed, and another was seriously injured in a head-on collision Friday afternoon between Borger and Panhandle, according to the Texas DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 4:00 p.m., October 1, on Highway 207, about 10 miles north of Panhandle.

DPS said two vehicles were involved in a head-on collision on the highway.

One person was killed in the crash.

One of the drivers was airlifted to an Amarillo hospital in serious condition.

The crash closed the highway just south of Borger to the north of Panhandle. The highway has since been reopened.

No other details were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
