1 Dead in Houston Crash on Highway 6 at Katy Freeway
Houston, Texas (May 18, 2019) – One person was killed early Friday morning in a traffic accident in Houston, authorities said.
The deadly crash was reported at around 3:00 a.m. Friday, May 17 on Highway 6 and the Katy Freeway.
According to the authorities, an 18-wheeler collided with a car for an unknown reason on the roadway. The force of the impact sheared the front of the 18-wheeler’s cab off.
One person died in the crash. The name of the victim has not been released pending notification of family.
The crash caused the closure of part of Highway 6 and the Katy Freeway.
The crash remains under investigation.
