One Killed and Two Injured in Longview Two-Vehicle Crash on Dundee Road
Longview, Texas (March 22, 2020) – One person was killed, and two others were injured in a head-on collision early Sunday morning in northwest Longview, according to the police.
The fatal crash took place around 1:50 a.m., in the 2900 block of Dundee Road, near Greggton Missionary Baptist Church and Pine Tree Road.
Police said a Chevrolet Impala was speeding westbound in the eastbound lane when it collided head-on with a Kia Amanti that had just turned eastbound onto Dundee Road.
A front-seat passenger in the Chevrolet was killed in the crash. The Chevrolet driver was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The Kia driver was also taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No further details regarding the crash were available.
The crash remains under investigation.
