1 Killed, 2 Injured in Head-On Crash on Highway 35 in Brazoria County

Man Killed and Two Women Injured in Brazoria County Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 35 near FM 2917

Brazoria County, Texas (July 14, 2020) – A man was killed, and two women were injured early Tuesday morning in a two-vehicle crash in Brazoria County, according to authorities.

The fatal crash occurred around 2:00 a.m. on Highway 35 near FM 2917.

Troopers said a Mercedes Benz was making a left-hand turn onto Highway 35 when it was hit head-on by a Dodge Ram driven by a man.

The man was declared dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

Two women in the Mercedes were taken to the hospital and are expected to survive.

Investigators said speed might have been a factor in the crash.

The authorities are investigating the crash.
