One Killed and Two Injured in Houston METRO Bus Crash on Bennington Street

Houston, Texas (September 26, 2021) – One person was killed, and two others were injured Saturday night in a METRO bus crash in northeast Houston, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened on September 25, in the 3500 block of Bennington Street.

Authorities said a METRO bus and a car were involved in the wreck.

A passenger in the car was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.

The car driver and the METRO bus driver were taken to the hospital for treatment.

Further details regarding the crash were not provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
