1 Killed, 2 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 300 in Gregg County

One Killed and Two Hospitalized after Gregg County Two-Vehicle Crash on SH 300

Gregg County, Texas (March 22, 2020) – One person was killed, and two others were taken to the hospital following a two-vehicle crash that happened on Friday morning in Gregg County, southeast of Longview, according to the DPS.

The fatal crash happened around 7:38 a.m. March 20, on State Highway 300.

According to a preliminary investigation, a 2004 Dodge Ram pickup was heading northbound on the highway, too fast for the road conditions, when it traveled into the southbound lane and hit a 2020 Buick Enclave.

A passenger in the Enclave was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Enclave was taken to Longview Regional in serious condition.

The driver of the Dodge was taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center – Longview, in an unknown condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
