36-Year-Old Man Killed in Wrong-Way Crash on Dallas North Tollway in Dallas

36-Year-Old Man Killed, Two Injured in Dallas Two-Vehicle Crash on Dallas North Tollway near Mockingbird Lane

Dallas, Texas (July 1, 2020) – According to a local news source, one person was killed, and two others were injured Tuesday night in a wrong-way crash in Dallas.

The fatal crash happened around 10:00 p.m. June 30, on the Dallas North Tollway, south of Mockingbird Lane.

DPS said a 36-year-old man was driving a Toyota Camry northbound in the southbound lane of the tollway when he crashed head-on into a Ford pickup truck.

The Camry driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Ford driver was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. A child passenger in the truck was also taken to Children’s Medical Center in an unknown condition.

The crash closed part of the Dallas North Tollway for several hours.

The crash remains under investigation.
