1 Killed, 2 Injured in Wrong-Way Crash on Interstate 35-E in Fort Worth

One Killed and Two Injured in Fort Worth Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 35-E near Interstate 820

Fort Worth, Texas (March 13, 2020) – One person was killed, and two others were injured in a wrong-way crash early Friday morning in Fort Worth, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 1:15 a.m. on the TEXpress lanes on Interstate 35-E, just north of Interstate 820.

Police said a vehicle was traveling the wrong way on the interstate when it crashed head-on into another vehicle.

The wrong-way driver was taken to the hospital where they were declared dead. A passenger in that vehicle was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the other vehicle sustained minor injuries in the crash.

No further details regarding the crash were provided.

The crash remains under investigation.
