One Killed, 2 Injured in Dallas Car Crash on Garland Road

Dallas, Texas (July 22, 2019) – One person was killed and two others injured in a crash involving a wrong-way driver on Saturday night in Dallas, according to a local news source.

The wreck happened at about 10:35 p.m. Saturday, July 20, in the 8500 block of Garland Road.

Police said a man was driving southbound on Garland Road when he made an unsafe turn over the center median. The vehicle entered the northbound lanes and collided with a northbound vehicle.

The driver of the southbound vehicle was rushed to Baylor Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The two people riding in the northbound vehicle were also taken to Baylor Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
