Woman Killed in Dell Vale Traffic Collision at FM 973 and Pearce Lane

Dell Vale, Texas (April 20, 2019) – One person died in a fiery two-vehicle collision on Thursday morning in Dell Vale, according to the authorities.
The crash occurred around 10:15 a.m. April 18, at FM 973 and Pearce Lane.
The authorities said the driver of a truck heading north on FM 973 failed to stop for a red light and collided with a sedan that was turning from Pearce Lane onto FM 973.
The female driver of the sedan was trapped in the wreckage and was pulled out by the responding firefighters. The victim was rushed to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center, where she was pronounced deceased.
Police cited the driver of the truck for failure to stop for a red light.
