One Killed and Four Injured in Gaines County Two-Vehicle Crash on State Highway 214
Gaines County, Texas (July 27, 2020) – One person was killed, and four others were injured in a head-on collision Friday night in Gaines County, eight miles northwest of Seminole, according to DPS.
The fatal crash happened around 10:00 p.m., July 24, on State Highway 214.
DPS said a pickup truck was heading southbound on the highway when it crossed over into the northbound lane and crashed head-on into an SUV.
The pickup driver was taken to University Medical Center in Lubbock, where he was pronounced dead.
The SUV driver was taken to UMC with non-incapacitating injuries.
Three teenage girls in the SUV were taken to UMC with non-incapacitating injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
