1 Killed, 5 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at 82nd Street and Frankford Avenue in Lubbock

One Killed and Five Injured in Lubbock Two-Vehicle Crash at 82nd Street and Frankford Avenue 

Lubbock, Texas (June 18, 2021) – One person was killed, and five others were injured Thursday night in a two-vehicle crash in Lubbock, according to the police.

The fatal crash happened around 11:19 p.m., June 17, at the intersection of 82nd Street and Frankford Avenue.

Police said a car and a pickup truck were involved in the wreck.

One person was killed in the crash. 

Another person sustained serious injuries, while another sustained moderate injuries. Three other people sustained minor injuries.

The crash closed the roadway, and traffic was blocked off. Motorists were asked to seek alternate routes.

The crash remains under investigation.
