1 Killed, 5 Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on I-45 in Walker County

One Killed and Five Injured in Walker County Two-Vehicle Crash on Interstate 45 at FM 1375

Walker County, Texas (July 4, 2022) – One person was killed, and five others were injured Saturday night in a two-vehicle crash in Walker County, according to the authorities.

The fatal crash happened just after 8:00 p.m., July 2, on Interstate 45 southbound at FM 1375.

Authorities said a truck pulling a trailer came over the hill and struck a passenger car with four adults and two children.

The victims in the car were trapped and had to be extricated. One of the adults was pronounced dead at the scene. Two adults were taken to local hospitals for treatment. One adult and the two children were each airlifted to hospitals with serious injuries.

No other details regarding the crash were available.

The crash remains under investigation.
