Co-Interim City Manager Rosario Cabello Injured in Fatal Laredo Multi-Vehicle Crash on Loop 20 near Lake Casa Blanca

Laredo, Texas (September 12, 2019) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Laredo, according to the police.

The crash happened at around 8:00 a.m. September 11, on the northbound lane of Loop 20 near Lake Casa Blanca.

Police said an 18-wheeler was heading southbound when it crossed into the northbound lane and crashed into oncoming traffic.

A total of four vehicles were involved in the collision.

One man was killed in the crash.

Co-Interim City Manager Rosario Cabello sustained injuries in the crash and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Laredo police are investigating the crash.
