One Person Dies in Orange County Crash on Interstate 10 near FM 1136

Orange County, Texas (March 6, 2019) – One person was killed in a collision between a passenger vehicle and a commercial vehicle on Tuesday night in Orange County.
According to the DPS, the wreck was reported at about 10:15 p.m. March 5, on Interstate 10 near FM 1136.
A preliminary investigation showed that a passenger vehicle was stopped in the eastbound lanes of I-10 when it was struck in the rear by the commercial vehicle.
The impact caused bot vehicles to catch fire.
DPS confirmed that one person died in the crash.
The identities of the parties involved in the crash were not immediately released.
